About Kabitha
I have studied Bsc Biochemistry and completed PGCE biology. I am currently, a secondary science teacher and have experience on OCR and AQA GCSE exam boards in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, therefore, I have exam skills which will be beneficial for students passing their exams.
As a teacher, I am a firm believer in setting high expectations for all pupils and encouraging them to push themselves. As an ambitious person myself, I’ve tried to motivate my students to aim and to do everything possible to convert their aspiration into reality, and my own enthusiasm for science had a positive impact on the students learning and guaranteed good results
I am a happy, friendly and warm person who thrives on supporting and inspiring other, and therefore I can assure you that I will be an excellent candidate for tutoring.

Implement differentiated tasks, questioning, outcome-based task and worksheets, in order for students to have a deeper learning. I believe it is important for students to have varied learning activities, to ensure students have inclusive learning opportunities. Also crafted my lesson planning in order to carry out formative and summative assessment. My students can be engaged through different pedagogical approaches. One of the ways is to motivate them and spark an interest in science by providing quizzes and subject-related board games, GCSE style question and generating healthy competitiveness. I found that combining interactive and theoretical learning helps students engage and gives them the will to learn.
