About Christopher
I am an experienced secondary school teacher with six years' teaching experience, offering online grinds in History, Maths and Politics & Society.
History is my specialist subject, and I have two years' experience working as an SEC History examiner. This has given me first-hand experience of the marking process and a strong understanding of what students need to do to maximise their marks in state examinations.
I offer History grinds at Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate Higher and Ordinary Level, Politics & Society at Leaving Certificate Higher and Ordinary Level, and Maths at Junior Cycle Higher and Ordinary Level and Leaving Certificate Ordinary Level.
I am passionate about helping students build their confidence, improve their understanding and achieve the best results they are capable of.

My lessons are tailored to the individual student. We will identify the areas you are finding difficult and focus our time on developing your understanding, confidence and exam technique.
For History and Politics & Society, lessons can focus on course content, essay writing and structure, source/document questions, research projects and exam preparation. As an experienced SEC History examiner, I can also help History students understand how their work is marked and how to turn their knowledge into stronger exam answers.
For Maths, I focus on understanding the process rather than simply getting the correct answer. We will work through problems step-by-step before applying what you have learned independently to exam-style questions.
Whether you are struggling to pass, trying to move up a grade or aiming for a top result, lessons will be adapted to your individual goals and ability.
