About Michael
Considering I am studying Sociology and Social Policy at undergraduate level, I am very passionate about social science subjects. Although I have no direct tutoring experience, besides supporting my younger siblings with their studies, my passion for the subject and the techniques I have learnt and used to support my studies made me want to tutor others in Sociology.
Although it can sometimes feel tricky to grasp, Sociology is such an interesting subject and I believe that I can help other students to find it just as fun as I do when the stressful element is taken out of it.

I offer remote lessons and will aim to support your learning in the ways I found most useful to me when studying. For example, I found that detailed, structured mind maps were one of the most useful revision methods for A-Level Sociology to help remember theories and concepts. This method was heavily supported by our teacher who would make the templates for us and we just had to fill them in - I am happy to do the same.
The lessons will also involve a lot of discussion (if you're happy with that) as I feel that discussing a topic in detail really helps people to understand a topic better. For instance, in my Sociology classes we would regularly have debates about particular theories and concepts and this not only helped us to understand the theory better but also helped when it came to analysis.
