About Bluebell
I am a second-year student at the University of Exeter studying Psychology. My main interests include exploring the development of ADHD in young adolescents in addition to child development and Biology. I am a friendly, caring and dedicated individual who loves helping others. I am passionate about finding the right teaching style for each student- my lessons are not a 'one size fits all' and I will always tailor my teaching specifically to what suits you. I want to make an environment where my students feel able to learn out of their comfort zones and make mistakes.

I think that the best way to teach children is to keep lessons fun and engaging. As a result, I like to adopt a range of different teaching styles such as quizzes, independent work and mind-mapping together. I like to create a safe environment where the child doesn't feel embarrassed to try new things and is excited to take part in my lessons.
A typical lesson would run for 45 minutes to an hour as I think any longer than that is too much time to stay focused for.
My lessons are primarily aimed at children ages 11-18 although I also have experience teaching primary school children. I completed volunteer work in my local primary school which included teaching science to 5- and 6-year-old children in a classroom environment. I also helped at an after-school club for primary aged children in which we taught them about nature and the environment.
