About Iona
My experience of teaching students about health, nutrition and anatomy with two different charities helped me decide to become a tutor. I found I really enjoyed teaching and could come up with activities which were both interesting and informative. I have also helped friends and family when they struggled to understand an idea or theme in English through encouraging discussion and mind mapping.

I am a second year medical student who loves English literature, poetry and reading. I want to help students increase their confidence and their ability. I teach students up to year 11, using images and discussion to help bring the the book, poem or essay to life. Revision for tests will seem less daunting with my variety of fun memory tips. I am very patient and enthusiastic about passing on my love of literature, making it more enjoyable and accessible.
