About Shiny
I have always been focused on spreading my wings in the field of Education. I began my career in teaching where I developed my passion for Education with deviation from the normal understanding of Literacy and how it is confused with Education.
My passion is to create an enriching virtual classroom experience for my students to replicate my physical classroom environment.
I am specialized in teaching Biology to the senior classes of the Cambridge stream but I possess multi-faceted talents in various subjects and have helped institutions in temporary positions to teach Economics, History, Geography, and the English language.
My classes are always differential, active and constructive. I ensure to apply the theories in education while planning my lessons and I also plan structured lessons that transition my learners from LOTS to HOTS. I am empathetic and I ensure to build a trustworthy and safe learning environment for my learners and conduct my classes in a very inclusive way. I have undergone intensive training by lead institutions and organisations in conducting virtual classes and I have a variety of online tools and resources to complement my teaching process. I have also tutored educators regarding active teaching and learning techniques through a global workshop. I mentor, guide, and observe my colleague educators and I have an eye for details. My years of experience and passion for Education will be radiated in my interactive learning sessions and modules.
Apart from teaching I take pride in my mastery of both written and oral communication skills and I help my students in grooming these skills. I have also spread my passion for writing by becoming a freelance Author with Scribe Magazine.
A proud Educationalist by passion and profession, I am sure my lessons will leave a lasting impact on my learners.

I am currently enrolling students to help them A's their Cambridge Lower secondary Biology checkpoint examinations and Cambridge IGCSE Biology Checkpoint examinations. The curriculum and plan for the lessons will be as per Cambridge guidelines. My years of experience mentoring students for their checkpoint examinations shall be evident in my active teaching and learning sessions.
I am also offering classes for Undergraduate and Postgraduate University students for their Core and Alternative theory papers in Biotechnology and Microbiology. Being a Gold medalist in Biotechnology in my Undergarduation and post-graduation I have a ton resources and tools to help A's your university examinations.
