About Najoua
A passionate scientist who loves being at Lab running experiments and motivating students perusing a research career! A Chemical Process Engineer with a strong approach to health, safety, and environment. I defended a Ph.D. in 2016 dealing with sustainable carbon adsorbents design for hydrogen storage purposes. I have been working for more than seven years in the synthesis and characterization of bio-adsorbents for liquid and gas treatments, gaining a broad understanding of the synthesis and processing of activated carbons, physical and chemical activations of lignocellulosic materials, and adsorption process. I have acquired expertise in the porosity and structural characterization of porous materials (TEM, SEM, XRD, FTIR, ICP), as well as gas sorption measurements using volumetric and gravimetric devices.
After five years in the fertilizer industry, I am back to academia but this time to coordinate an industry-academia research project dealing with critical metal extraction from mine ores.

I've started teaching since my high school. I teached my cousins, my neibors, and friends. Since my young age my students love how methodology that based on real example from life. All of them ended by passing their exams and making progression. After my graduation I loved preparing theoretical and lab courses for undergraduate students.
