About C Madhushika
According to my point of view, a mentor is someone who helps a person grow his/her skills, make better decisions and gain new prospective in life. So as a mentor, a proper education should be given to the kids along with emotional support and role modelling. This will help them to gain the required knowledge related to the subject and at the same time build a good connection with the mentor in order to solve the problems that arise in life.
A mentor is responsible for guiding the mentee in the subject area and in creating a positive future.

For me, the most important aspect of being a mentor in a student's life is giving frequent and sincere feedback. I feel this makes them encouraged in order to come forward with their ideas and developmental stages because they know that I'm there to believe in them. In this regard I try to make them realize that mistakes lead to better learning and success. Inspiring children in their work, listening to their practical issues and making a good mindset are also interconnected together with frequent and sincere feedback provision. Furthermore, Empathy and Reflective listening are always there with me, which leads me to a person who is loved by the kids.
