About Esme
I am Esme Roets, a grandma of four girls. I take pleasure in teaching them the skills I know. I believe in uplifting the community with what you have. I am not a professional teacher, but can use what I got to earn money. I crochet and sew for the past 20 years. I can knit and am learning every day new techniques. I did crochet a few blankets and garments in the past 20 years. I use store-bought patterns and made my own clothes and clothes for my kids and grandkids.

Learn how to knit, crochet or sew. You are not too old or young to learn a new skill. Patience is a virtue. I prefer Afrikaans but can teach in English. As a beginner you will learn how to read a pattern and understand the terms. In the knit and crochet we will start with a blanket. In the sewing all the basics of the sewing machine and how to sew. You can decide on what you want to make.

I prefer to travel in a 15 km radius, between 10H00 and 15H00. If you request that I travel any other time, my travel rate is R150.
