Hello! I'm Elliot, a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals. I am currently attending Colby College, where I am double majoring in Philosophy and Government. With a strong academic background and a personal SAT score of 1530, I am well-equipped to guide students through their SAT preparation and academic challenges.

My tutoring approach is student-centered, focusing on individualized strategies to meet each student's unique needs. I believe in fostering a deep understanding of the material, building confidence, and developing critical thinking skills that extend beyond the classroom. About the lesson

My teaching method is based on each student. Recognizing problem types each student excels and struggles with, and drilling those problems till they are intuitive. A typical lesson plan will require a section that is completed before hand, an overview and scoring, and further tactics to find the right answer. The lessons are for students who struggle specifically in the writing and reading section of the SAT.
