About Sarah

After 2 years of doing the IB I see firsthand how difficult it can be to find your footing. Although I eventually began to pick up on what the IB required of me academically I had already gone through much of the hardships that all students without the right guidance face. Being a teacher means I am able to pass on this knowledge in a structured and systematic manner to ensure real change can be made to someone else’s IB experience.

About the lesson

Will provide exam preparation resources to ensure students are familiar with the required exam writing style. This will include past papers, marking of sample responses, and review of various exam approaches. Will look over and provide constructive feedback on essays in regards to effective use of language, clarity of ideas, and structure. As a teacher, I will ensure I cater my class to each student’s needs by tracking patterns of error and ensuring they are addressed in a constructive and supportive manner. Students are encouraged to voice their concerns in regards to the IB HL English Language and Literature course as I am able to provide them with direct guidance (having gone through the same experience not so long ago).
