About Ruby
I have a foundational knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, economics, and accounting, and I can provide lessons in both English and Chinese on these subjects.
I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language, especially one as unique as Chinese. Therefore, I focus on building a strong foundation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while also introducing you to the cultural contexts that make the language come alive. I am here to guide you every step of the way, providing personalized feedback and encouragement to help you achieve your language goals.
I hope my classes are not monotonous learning sessions. I will provide a variety of resources for you to choose from. We will have outdoor lessons, and I will use videos to take you on virtual tours of Chinese life scenes or famous scenic spots. We can have classes where we watch Chinese movies, read Chinese books, and watch vlogs by interesting Chinese bloggers on the internet.
