About Nelson
As a professional clarinettist and experienced music teacher, I have been helping students develop their musical skills since 2017. I am passionate about making music education accessible to everyone and believe that online lessons can provide a flexible and effective way to learn.

My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, whether that's learning piano for enjoyment, preparing for ABRSM or Trinity exams, improving music theory, or succeeding in GCSE Music.
Having taught since 2017 and achieved Grade 8 Piano with Distinction, I combine a structured approach with an encouraging and supportive teaching style. Lessons are designed to build strong musical foundations, confidence in performance, and a genuine enjoyment of music.
For piano students, lessons cover technique, sight-reading, musicianship, theory, and repertoire appropriate to their level. For GCSE Music students, I provide support with listening and appraising, composition, performance preparation, and exam technique.
Every lesson is planned around the individual learner, helping them progress at a pace that is both challenging and enjoyable. I am proud to maintain a 100% exam pass rate and strive to help every student achieve their full musical potential.
