About Chase
As a Chemistry tutor with a Master’s in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry and more than five years of experience, I specialize in forensic science applications. My lessons focus on drug analysis, toxicology, and crime scene techniques. I take an interdisciplinary approach that highlights chemistry’s connections to law and biology. Students often work with simulated case files, experiencing firsthand the process of forensic investigation. I also introduce them to analytical instrumentation, making complex concepts accessible and practical. Ethics are a key part of my teaching, because evidence has real consequences in people’s lives. I support students interested in forensic careers and law enforcement. Many have told me that the case-based approach makes learning dynamic and memorable. I aim to create lessons that are both rigorous and inspiring. For me, teaching chemistry is about building skills and confidence. Most importantly, it’s about showing how chemistry helps solve mysteries and contributes to justice.

My method is structured, simple, and student-centered. Organic chemistry is taught in a way that flows naturally, from basics like nomenclature to advanced topics like reaction mechanisms and isomerism. Functional groups are explained step by step, with examples to make them clear. I believe every learner can master this subject when taught with patience. For Environmentalist and Marine Biologist learners, I design lessons that connect to their interests and careers. Feedback is a regular part of the process, helping students grow steadily. I always ensure understanding before moving forward. Complex reactions are simplified into patterns and logic. Once the foundation is set, we build into synthesis and applications. I emphasize problem-solving so learners can apply knowledge independently. My teaching provides both guidance and encouragement. Students gain confidence as they master each step. Chemistry becomes not just a subject, but a practical tool to understand the world.
