About Muhammad
I am a retired university professor with a PhD in Theoretical Physics. I have spent my academic career teaching physics to undergraduate and graduate students in the United States, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Over the years, I have taught various physics courses such as Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism, thermodynamics and statistical mechanics, special relativity, quantum mechanics, nuclear physics, and mathematical methods of physics. I mostly enjoy teaching undergraduate physics because this is the stage where students either gain confidence or lose interest in the subject. My goal is to help students understand physics clearly, develop a systematic approach to problem solving, and succeed in their exams without fear or confusion. Having worked with engineering and pre-med and preparatory year students, I understand the common difficulties they face. I teach with patience, clarity, and structure, focusing on concepts first and then applying them step by step to problems. Teaching allows me to continue sharing my experience and helping students build strong foundations for their academic and professional careers.

I have extensive experience teaching General Physics (Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism) using standard international textbooks such as Halliday & Resnick, Cutnell & Johnson and Serway and Jewett. For many years I have taught and tutored physics to engineering, pre-medical and preparatory year students. I understand the specific difficulties students face in solving physics problems.
My teaching style is structured, calm, and exam-oriented. I focus on:
Understanding the physical meaning of formulas
Developing a step-by-step problem-solving strategy
Improving confidence for quizzes, midterms, and finals
Having taught in Saudi Arabia, I am familiar with the academic environment and expectations of Saudi universities. All sessions are conducted in clear English. I can communicate in English, Urdu and Arabic (moderately). I ensure that students feel comfortable asking questions.
