About Jack

I have been teaching mathematics for twenty-six years and tutoring almost as long. I am comfortable with any level of expertise. I have worked with advanced students as well as autistic and learning disabled students.
Mathematics will never be as much fun as Disney World but it should be interesting and satisfying.

About the lesson

Learn by understanding not by memorizing equations and formulas.
Mathematics is a structure built up from basic ideas. Without understanding the basics it is impossible to master the more advanced subject material.
Practice is essential just as it is with every other skill.
