I minored in English in college, scored a 740 on the English Composition portion of the SATs, and have authored two novels, both of which have been published, as well as a number of short stories and essays. If you want help with, or want to learn about, basic English, creative writing, essay writing or Sat preparation, I am the person assist you. I am a retired attorney . I've published two novels and numerous short stories and essays and am passionate about working with and guiding youth. I am personable, patient, easy-going and goal oriented: your key to success. A typical lesson plan would involve writing a cogent, informed letter to the editor of a local newspaper about a topic of your choice, creating a short fiction story, writing your memoirs or critiquing a writing by a member of Willamette Writers - depending upon your age and grade level. I enjoy working with youth from ages 10 to 18. You will need access to a computer having both Microsoft Word and Office.
