About Ellie
Hello! I'm a passionate and dedicated teacher currently studying for a BA (Hons) in Arts and Humanities. I offer engaging and personalised lessons in Religious Education, PSHE, Humanities, and History for students of all levels – from primary school through to GCSE and A-Level. I currently work as a teacher in a specialist SEN school and have extensive experience supporting students with a range of additional needs, including SEMH. With over three years of private tutoring experience and an enhanced DBS check, I’m confident in creating a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment for every student. My online lessons are 45 minutes long and delivered via Zoom, making learning flexible and accessible. My approach to tutoring is student-centred, supportive, and adaptable to each learner's needs. I create a calm, structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and growing in confidence. I use a range of techniques including discussion-based learning, visual aids, real-life examples, and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging and relevant. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes and is delivered via Zoom. I tailor every session to suit the student's learning style and academic goals, whether that's building foundational knowledge, preparing for exams, or exploring topics in more depth. I am currently studying for my BA (Hons) in Arts and Humanities, and I hold Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Music Performance. I also have over three years of experience tutoring students aged 5–16 and beyond. I’ve taught a wide range of abilities and learning needs, including SEN and SEMH students, and I hold an enhanced DBS check. My lessons are ideal for students at Key Stages 2–5, including those working towards GCSE and A-Level in Religious Education, PSHE, Humanities, and History.
