About Hamorn

I am an enthusiastic educator with qualifications such as Bachelor of Teaching, Master of Education (Educational Studies), Master of Education (English Language Studies), Master in Counseling, and Diploma in Teaching English as a Second Language. I've just completed my Immigration Law studies at Queen's University with flying colors. My research article "Learning Vocabulary through Drama Games" is published in The East Asia Regional Council Of Schools (EARCOS) Journal (Fall issue, 2017). I have presented in various international conferences, including The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) in America, The East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) Teachers' Conference in Thailand, and The 21st Century Learning (21CLHK) Conference in Hong Kong. I have received several awards, such as Marian Webb Award from Queen's University, EARCOS Action Research Grant (2017) and EdUHK Conference Award (2018).

About the lesson

Unlike the traditional one-size-fits-all curriculum, I adopt "differentiated instructions" (also known as "personalized learning") to help students handle school work and grow beyond it. All materials are provided, and all classes take place virtually on Zoom/ Google Meet. I teach children (e.g. phonics and reading) as well as high schoolers (for college/ university admissions purpose) and adults, e.g. new immigrants.
