About Roxann

Many of the people I work with are juggling violin studies alongside a full-time job. You likely need a focused approach that respects your busy schedule. I hold a Master of Music in Violin Performance from Manhattan School of Music.

My instruction emphasizes intonation, double stops, and orchestral playing. Posture and hold are the foundation of my teaching style. I focus on spiccato and staccato bowing to refine your control. My goal is to guide you toward your musical ambition.

About the lesson

Precision matters more than speed in my studio. You receive 6 distinct steps during our time together.

I ask many questions before offering any answers to ensure clarity. I provide recorded playback of tricky passages for your home practice. My Alexander Technique background informs how we release tension before playing. These sessions help you find ease in your sound and breath.
