I always loved Math so, I tutored Math for younger students in high school. In college, I started tutor online through GoPeer. I tutored Elementary and Middle School students in Math and Reading. I started tutoring Reading and English to students because growing up, I struggled with reading and picked up a lot of tips that helped me improved. I love helping others and I can't wait to meet you!

About the lesson

I tutor math and reading for Elementary and Middle Schoolers When it comes to teaching methods and techniques, used a student-focused method by finding methods that works for the student that I am working with. I will first listen to what you have tried and incorporate what has worked for you in the past or help you find new methods that will help. I am open to your learnings style and will incorporate practice questions, videos, books and games. I often use assigned homework as a guide to what you are learning and may need help with, but I often help students with the basics that they need to understand the materials that is assigned. As a tutor who works with younger children, I will also keep parents in the loop and will follow and direction on what they would like to be accomplished in tutoring sessions.
