About Clemency
Having only just completed my A levels, I understand both the stress and struggles of being a student and have a valuable insight into the exam technique needed to achieve the highest grades. However, whilst exams are important, my favourite part of learning is exploring the relevance of these subjects in the real world by both covering the fascinating material and applying principles to global issues in the modern-day.

Patience is key. My teaching methodology centres around the individual needs of each pupil; I pride myself on my personalised approach, identifying the areas of strength and weakness to then build on. The length of the lesson depends on the student and the flexibility of their schedule. Having recently finished my A levels and achieving predictions of all A*s, I have a fresh perspective on how to achieve the top grades whilst gaining a rich understanding of the subject. In my GCSEs, I achieved 10 level 9 grades and have enjoyed passing the skills I learned during the GCSE process onto younger pupils I have tutored during both secondary school and sixth form. I believe that History, Economics and English are about students questioning the material, giving logical arguments, and reaching their own conclusions, whether at GCSE or A level. I like students to express themselves and their opinions, whilst tying their arguments and points into clear responses. To me, learning is about problem-solving and understanding both how the world works, and how the past affects the present.
