About Pooja
As a non-English major, I approach my Writing and Reading Tutoring job as a learning experience that shaped my writing along with all the students I worked with. With prior experience in grading essays for high school students, I learned how to recognize great writing from good and ensure students effectively communicate their ideas skillfully and clearly.

In my time tutoring undergraduate students in their writing across courses such as English, Political Science, History, and more, I ensured they had a clearer idea about what they wanted to write, how they could approach their writing sessions, and how they could best communicate their points through the written word. Working with students for 30-50 minutes, going through their writing, drawing up outlines, editing their draft, etc. is my core strategy to help them deliver their best writing!
