About Ben
I am a recent History Graduate from the University of Oxford, studying at Mansfield College. Across my three year degree, I worked closely with some of the most accomplished academics in the world, testing my essay-writing and debating skills in a rigorous environment. I achieved the award of an exhibition for consistent academic excellence, worth £200 per year, placing me among the highest achieving Oxford University students. I have experience in marking personal statements, reviewing UCAS applications, marking and improving essays, and helping students to understand key concepts and exam techniques.

1. Focus on understanding rather than memorisation. The way in which we think about things, not simply knowing of their existence, is crucial to success.
2. Essay writing skills and exam technique tailored to each student. Helping to hone individual style into a technique that will yield high marks.

4. Lessons will last 60 minutes and will be structured by the desires and requirements of the student. There is flexibility in this area.
