About Rosie
Over the last three years at Yale, I have spent all of my time learning from all of my teachers. In acting, and in playwriting workshops that I got to attend, taught by world-renowned playwrights. I got to develop my own work, and know how personal and vulnerable it is to perform and write in this art form. My priority is to find as much joy in the work as possible, so we can feel free to express ourselves fully. Specificity is what brings universality to this work, and when we are free and joyful, we can access it fully.

Actors get one on one coaching for auditions and/or projects they are working on. I can coach for Secondary School auditions, and/or general auditions. I can also coach on set.
We will start every lesson with physical grounding and warmups, to get into our bodies and open energetically to the work.
Then, we dive into the characters. Identify where you relate, how you are different, and find our ways into the character, that makes your specific performance unique.
For writing, I have writing exercises learned from Pulitzer Prize winning playwrights, and experience in play development. I can help with one person shows, as well as multi-character plays.
