About Zara
I have worked as a tutor for several years, both privately and at a tuition centre, working primarily with GCSE students to boost their grades in the final run to their exams. I have taught many students of different abilities to quickly identify gaps in their learning which are likely to have the most impact on their grades, working with the student to ensure they feel in control of their learning and development. All of my students so far have been pleased with their results and experience working with me.

I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I create tailored lesson plans for each student, meeting them where they are, and setting both realistic and aspirational goals. I have three years of previous experience as a science tutor where students improved by two number grades on average.
Lessons are 1 hour long, for Year 10 and Year 11 students who are studying for their GCSE chemistry and biology.
