About Adam
Due to the nature of my degrees (History, African Studies, Anthropology), I have spent a long time developing writing and essays of my own as well as teaching students at various levels. My work has extended around the world, in Africa and Europe. I am very familiar with a wide array of teaching methods and can easily adapt to a preferred learning style. I believe each individual can possess a unique learning style and nurturing an individual style is vital to a student's success.

My teaching philosophy is very student focused and dynamic. I try and make writing a fun and explorative process while focusing on the fundamentals of what makes an essay good. I like to explore English Literature subjects from a human perspective, focusing on both what the meaning of the text was to the author as well as what it could mean to the student.
I typically begin lessons by asking the student questions and creating a conversation style environment to allow the lesson to flow naturally.
