About Jessica
I am a recent graduate from Lewis & Clark College with a B.A. in music and political science. Growing up, music has been a central part of my identity. Not only have I sung in choirs and performed the piano since I was 7 years old, I have expanded my talents (particularly in singing) to the next level by being a member of my high school's vocal conservatory, performing as Ruth in my high school's production of Pirates of Penzance, and dual-majoring in music and political science in college.

My philosophy is that everyone can sing as long as they try! Whether you are brand new to music or you're an experienced singer seeking to expand your range and keep your vocal health intact, I will help ensure your voice shines!
In my lessons, I will start off with 5-10 minutes of stretches, breathing exercises, and vocal warmups to get your voice ready to sing the notes. Regarding repertoire, I tend to focus on classical singing (mainly art songs and arias) and songs from Broadway musicals, but I can also help you sing your favorite song released this year. Additionally, I also tend to put strong emphasis on reading the sheet music to the songs while learning them to help you review parts in your spare time.
