About Jamila

I took Spanish for 5 years throughout high school, ending with Spanish 4H. While attending the University of Connecticut, I studied abroad at la Universidad de Salamanca, one of the oldest universities in the world. I graduated from my courses (Neuropharmacology and Intermediate Spanish) with a 4.00. I am eager and enthusiastic to help and to share my knowledge, and I am confident in my abilities to teach basic Spanish to any population.

About the lesson

The content of our sessions will center around basic phrases that would assist you when visiting a Spanish speaking country, as well as important words and verbs (as well as tenses and conjugations)! We can go as slow or as fast as you are comfortable with, and I will ascertain your growing abilities with various strategies, such as “pop quizzes” and vocab games.
