About Gabriella

I'm a recent 2026 graduate from Florida International University and I want to help you succeed! Life sciences are my passion and I'm here to assist if you're struggling with conceptualizing bigger ideas by breaking it down into digestible parts. I've been studying Biology for nearly 8 years now, having taken these courses myself and beginning my time in uni with FIUteach teaching Biology for advanced 8th graders during a semester-long program, I have been on both sides of the STEM learning process.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions regarding what areas of study you might need help with or what level of mastery you might need. Tell me where you want to be and we can work to get you there together!

About the lesson

As a recent grad I've learned firsthand that studying for a science course can be challenging. I'm here to give you all the shortcuts I've learned over the years and make big scary concepts look easier when we break them down. I've been a peer tutor running study groups since my high school years, and sometimes all it takes is a fresh perspective on the material catered to the right audience.

During my time as a student teacher in the FIUteach program I learned the importance of STEM communication and new ways of inquiry-based teaching that starts with the students level of understanding and build upon that foundation. We are taught to create engaging lesson plans that simplify hard concepts with the use of technology and hands-on learning in middle school classrooms. This experience along with other private tutoring, study groups, and volunteer teaching assistant positions have shaped the way I teach the sciences to a variety of age groups and at varying difficulty levels.
