About Manya
Let's make your ACT goals happen.
Hi! I'm Manya, a recent ACT 36 scorer (and 1540 SAT scorer (790 Math, 750 Reading & Writing)). I know firsthand how stressful standardized testing can feel, but I also know that the right strategies and a strong understanding of the material can make all the difference. My goal is to help every student feel confident walking into test day—whether you're aiming for your first benchmark score or striving for a 34+.

A typical lesson begins by identifying your strengths and areas for improvement using practice questions or a previous ACT test. From there, we'll review concepts, work through problems step by step, and discuss effective test-taking strategies like pacing and eliminating incorrect answer choices. While these strategies are important, I know from experience that they can only take you so far.
I believe lasting improvement (and achieving perfect or near perfect scores), especially in the Math and English sections, comes from building a strong understanding of the concepts, not just memorizing tricks for the exam. That's why I recommend starting with an assessment of your current skills and goals, then transitioning into lesson-style sessions that focus on teaching the content itself. By strengthening your foundation, you'll not only improve your ACT score but also gain confidence in your abilities.
What sets me apart is that I recently earned a perfect ACT score, so the strategies I teach are current, based on firsthand experience, and from the perspective of a student. I know which study methods and approaches truly made a difference for me, and I'll tailor those techniques to each student's individual needs and learning style.
