I’m a patient, encouraging reading tutor who believes every learner can become a strong, confident reader with the right support. My reading and literacy lessons are designed to build confidence, comprehension, and real-world reading skills for children, teens, and adults. Each session follows a simple and effective structure: a warm-up, guided learning, and a personalized wrap-up.
We begin with a warm-up activity that activates prior knowledge and gets students comfortable—this may include a quick vocabulary game, a short reading prompt, or a confidence-building discussion question. During the main lesson, I use structured, research-based reading strategies to improve comprehension, fluency, and critical-thinking skills. Lessons are always tailored to the learner’s level and goals, whether that’s strengthening foundational reading or building higher-level comprehension.
At the end, we complete a wrap-up reflection to check understanding, review key skills, and celebrate progress. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and highly interactive. I aim to make reading feel approachable and enjoyable for every learner, no matter their starting point.
