About Rosie
I am a working actor and director, signed by a top London agency, looking to help other actors unlock their potential. I trained at RADA and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I studied various acting techniques including Stanislavsky, Uta Hagen and Meisner. I also have many years experience of teaching drama to young people, having led many workshops and classes throughout my career. Most recently, I assistant directed a final year production of 'Treasure Island' at a leading drama school and performed at the Young Vic.
Above all, I value kindness and empathy in my approach to teaching and directing - acting should be fun!

I really believe that acting is for everyone, no matter what level of experience or age. Depending on the student I can tailor the lesson to focus on creative story-telling, or if you have an audition coming up, we can work together to find the right pieces for you and prepare them together. Everyone learns differently and throughout the lesson I aim to get the best out of my students whilst also providing support and encouragement.

In all the time I’ve known Rosie, I’ve found her to be incredibly hardworking and passionate about theatre. She has a talent for bringing out the best in people and helping them shine.
Rosie helped me gain so much confidence for drama school auditions, all her advice was so valuable especially with Shakespeare. I’ve always struggled with studying and performing Shakespeare and was very daunted at the prospect of having to tackle some of his speeches for auditions, but Rosie made it so much clearer and encouraged me to make bold choices and experiment with the the speeches in different ways.
I have genuinely felt so well prepared for auditions which takes away a large amount of the nerves felt on the day! Would highly recommend Rosie if you would like some extra support, advice and guidance when approaching acting auditions.Rosie has been studying acting from Alevel, to National Youth Theatre, Peer productions, with Rose Theatre and now completed a year at RADA. Her dedication to acting is incredible and she work so hard to ensure she is performing her best. Rosie has worked with amazing tutors at these different companies, who have taught her the skills to develop speeches and monologues to ensure they are performed in a detailed and professional manner. I highly recommend Rosie as an acting tutor.
I trained with Rosie on the RADA foundation course for 6 months. Rosie proved to be a committed, talented and resilient actor, with plenty of previous experience and knowledge for both contemporary modern theatre and classical Shakespeare texts. Rosie’s pure passion and love for her craft is so inspiring and whenever I felt I was struggling with coming to terms with a new play, Rosie was able to break down the text to its purest form and would work with me using Stanislavski and Uta Hagen’s techniques. I would recommend Rosie to anyone who feels they need help on contemporary monologues, or audition pieces, as she is able to use her knowledge learnt from both previous professional experience in theatre and the intensive RADA foundation course in acting to guide an actor through a structured text analysis process ; and her caring, nurturing personality will put all daunting feelings at ease.

I try to keep my prices as low as possible, whilst also accounting for my years of experience and travel costs.
Applying to drama schools and auditions can be very expensive and I don't want to add to that, so if you feel unable to pay £25/hr then please get in touch and we can negotiate a price that works for both of us.
