Teaching what is required in an accounting job.
• Client relationship management using Workflow Max for 80 clients in XERO. Communicating with client on a daily basis using Microsoft Outlook requesting documents, reconcile transactions over the phone, financial reporting, tax planning, business advisory and budgeting.
• Strong organisational and time management skills. Delivering excellent customer service
• Preparation of Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies using Workflow Max Xero and HandiTax. Knowledge of Fringe Benefit Tax and Division 7A director's loan.
• Financial Reporting and preparation of Year-End accounts and Financial Statements using MYOB and Xero. Preparing Cash Flow Statement for the clients.
• Preparation of BAS/IAS/PAYG on a quarterly basis
• Access to the ATO portal to provide the current lodgement status. . Dealing directly with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients with respect to payment arrangements, penalty and interest remission, superannuation amnesty application.
• Bookkeeping when required including year end audit, account reconciliation, month-end adjustments, depreciation of assets, finance loan agreements, accounts payable and receivable.
• Experience in setting up, adjusting and processing payroll in XERO and MYOB.
• Microsoft Office proficiency using Outlook and Excel
