About Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren! I’m a qualified UK teacher with experience teaching and supporting children and young people across both primary and secondary education.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with learners with a wide range of abilities and needs, including children with SEND/ALN and those who may lack confidence or find traditional classroom environments challenging. I’m passionate about helping young people feel comfortable with learning and recognise what they are capable of achieving.
Alongside my teaching qualification and QTS, I also hold a TEFL qualification, allowing me to support learners who are developing their English as an additional language.
I believe that learning works best when a student feels understood, supported and able to be themselves. My aim is to create that environment while helping each learner build their skills, confidence and independence.

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each individual learner. I take time to understand a student’s starting point, confidence and learning needs, then adapt each lesson to help them make meaningful progress.
Lessons are interactive and engaging, with a strong focus on building confidence alongside developing English skills. I use a range of activities and resources rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach, and I am particularly experienced in adapting learning for children with SEND/ALN or those who may have found traditional classroom learning challenging.
As a qualified UK teacher with experience across primary and secondary education, I can support learners with reading, writing, grammar, comprehension and wider English skills. Lessons are available online for children and young people aged 5–16 and are planned around the needs and goals of each individual learner.
