About Anneliese

I was brought up bilingually from birth, with a Spanish mother and English father, and have lived and worked and studied in both Spain and the UK. Spanish is not just a language for me, it’s part of who I am. I bring that cultural and linguistic authenticity into every lesson I teach. Although I teach KS3 and KS4, my true passion lies in A Level Spanish. I specialise in preparing students for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC Eduqas and Cambridge International exams, focusing on advanced grammar, essay writing, speaking confidence, and film and literature analysis. My lessons are tailored, and designed to help students develop both fluency and analytical depth, both of which I believe are essential for achieving top grades. During the pandemic, I began tutoring extensively online through platforms such as TutorHunt, supporting students across the UK. Many of these learners went on to exceed their predicted grades, thanks to structured exam preparation and targeted feedback. I have been tutoring the same adult students advanced grammar and conversational Spanish now for many years. With over 20 years’ experience in education, and as a fully qualified MFL teacher, I now teach A Level Spanish online. My bilingual background, classroom experience, and exam-board expertise combine to create an engaging, results-driven learning experience that builds confidence as well as competence. About the lesson

I follow the national curriculum programmes for GCSE and A Level Spanish as well as the marking criteria of each exam board to create an interactive lesson which includes the necessary vocabulary and grammar and encourages the learner to speak in Spanish. Homework is written work
