About Valdís
I achieved a First Class degree in Classical Studies from the University of Bristol. I taught first as a classroom assistant, in both SEN and mainstream education, before attaining a place on the Teach First program in 2022. Since then, I have worked as a primary school teacher, instructing in all core and foundation subjects in both Year 3 and Year 4.

I am a dedicated tutor and Teach First graduate with a First-Class degree, bringing both academic rigor and tailored support to my students. As a class teacher, I have thorough knowledge of the KS1-2 curriculum, how to iron out any misconceptions, and the extra mile needed for 7 and 11+ exams. Beyond successfully navigated the entrance process myself, I have coached several children successfully through their selective school journey, and so I’m well-versed in the challenges and opportunities these exams present.
