About Emily
I am a qualified secondary school teacher I’m both French and Spanish. I qualified last year and received a distinction in my PGCE. I teach Spanish to A Level and can teach French to GCSE level. I am hardworking and give my all to the students I work with, I have high expectations and find that this combination drives successful results.
I am a really friendly, approachable person and really love working with young people. I love getting to know people and learning more about their interests and shaping the learning around them.
I am a very keen linguist and studied both French and Spanish at Warwick university. I spent a year in Madrid and worked as an English teacher whilst living with 2 French girls. I love the culture and history of both countries hope that my passion rubs off on my students.
As a qualified teacher, I am often observed and have had fantastic feedback. My lessons are engaging, offer stretch and support and show clear progress. In a private tutoring session, it would be more tailored and specific to the needs of the student.
I look forward to working with you and helping you improve your language skills.
