About Federico

I am a secondary school teacher, although I am my specialism is engineering, I am very versatile as in the years I have matured experience in tutoring students from year 7 to year 11 in other subjects like English, Maths and Italian.

I am originally Italian but I live in the UK from many years. I love everything that is about teaching and learning, I am very passionate and my greatest satisfaction is seeing my students succeed and achieve amazing results.

I love reading about all sort of topics and learning something new every day. My background is in engineering product design and my most significative work experiences are in education, in marketing and in product design. In my most recent position I lead the engineering department of an secondary English academy working as a Design & Technology teacher and teaching students from year 7 to year 10.

I left this position as I started my own business and I needed more time to work on that and other personal projects.

Here I am offering my time to help you with your problems, to design and deliver individual lessons made just for you, to answer questions you may have and to help you identify the best steps to take to reach your objectives, helping you tailoring a winning strategy built on your specific needs.

About the lesson

My experience in the classroom has helped me refining my pedagogical skills and has helped me developing new strategies tailored for meeting individual students needs. In my teaching I apply consistently effective methodologies that are aimed to bring every single student to the road of success.

My lessons are engaging, meaningful and as my students say - fun.
While I teach, I like to use catchy visual and video elements that are relevant to the topic and help the learning process using other dual-coding pedagogical strategies.

My lessons have a solid structure and are designed with the intent of helping the absorption of new concept in a limited time avoiding causing information overload in my students' minds.

Thanks to the pandemic, I am experienced with remote learning and I have given proof I am able to deliver with success engaging and effective online lessons.
