About Amy
Hello! I’m Amy I’m 22 and a qualified Secondary Science teacher with a PGCE and QTS, as well as a degree in Forensic Science. I have experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting students of varying abilities and helping them build both confidence and understanding in the subject.
I am passionate about making Science accessible and engaging for all learners. Through my teaching experience, I have developed strong skills in adapting lessons to meet individual needs, breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, and helping students achieve their academic goals.
I provide a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their understanding at their own pace. Whether you’re looking to improve confidence, strengthen subject knowledge, or prepare for exams, I aim to make lessons enjoyable, productive, and tailored to your needs.

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student, helping them to build confidence and develop a secure understanding of scientific concepts. I use a range of teaching strategies, including clear explanations, worked examples, retrieval practice, exam-style questions, and regular knowledge checks to ensure progress is being made.
As a qualified Science teacher with PGCE and QTS, I have experience teaching students with a wide range of abilities and adapting lessons to suit different learning needs. Whether a student requires support with core scientific knowledge, exam technique, revision strategies, or confidence in the subject, lessons are planned to meet their specific goals.
