About Christie
I am a passionate and dedicated science teacher with five years of experience in successful UK secondary schools. With a background in biomedical science, I bring a strong subject knowledge and real-world context to my teaching, helping students see the relevance and excitement of science beyond the classroom.
I particularly enjoy building positive relationships with my students, creating a supportive environment where they feel encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and grow in confidence.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active at the gym, spending quality time with friends, and exploring new places around the world.

I am a qualified teacher working in a leading UK 11–16 state school, offering engaging and supportive tutoring for students studying KS3 Science and GCSE Sciences. My approach focuses on building confidence by strengthening understanding of core concepts and key ideas, creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and develop their skills.
I use a wide range of resources and teaching strategies to tailor explanations to each student’s needs, helping them to fully grasp topics and apply their knowledge effectively to exam-style questions. Lessons are one hour long and are designed to be structured, interactive, and focused on making progress.
