About Xenia

I am a passionate, dedicated and experienced teacher with a strong background in education and childcare. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught across both core and foundation subjects, with extensive experience in planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of each child.

I have worked with children across a range of ages and settings, including schools, nurseries, nannying and private tuition. This varied experience has given me a strong understanding of how children learn and develop, as well as the importance of adapting my approach to suit each child’s individual ability, personality and learning style.

Building positive relationships with children is at the heart of my approach. I pride myself on creating a warm, encouraging and nurturing learning environment where children feel comfortable, confident and excited to learn. I particularly enjoy helping children recognise their strengths, overcome challenges and develop greater confidence in their own abilities.

My strengths include strong subject knowledge, excellent organisation and time management, positive behaviour management and the ability to build exceptional teacher–pupil relationships. I believe children achieve their best when they feel happy, respected and supported, so I always promote kindness, courtesy and good manners alongside academic progress.

Above all, I want every child I work with to feel proud of their achievements and to leave each session feeling more confident and positive about their learning.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for children aged 3–10 years, with both face-to-face and online tuition available.

I offer support across a range of subjects, tailoring each lesson to your child’s individual needs, ability and learning style. Whether your child needs additional support, confidence-building, consolidation of school learning or an extra challenge, sessions are planned to help them make meaningful progress.

Lessons are typically one hour long, but the length, content and structure can be adapted to suit your child and their learning goals.
