About Yas

Hi, I’m Yasmine! I’m a qualified primary school teacher (Bachelor of Education) with 3 years of classroom experience teaching children aged 5–12, and I’ve taught more than 100 students worldwide.

I love helping children grow in confidence and enjoy learning. Many of the children I work with start out thinking they’re “bad at” something, and seeing them realise they can do it is the best part of my job. I speak English, French and Arabic, so I also understand children learning in more than one language.

About the lesson

I support children from Junior Infants to 6th Class, following what they’re learning in school.

I can help with:

Reading & phonics: building fluent, confident readers
Writing: spelling, sentences, handwriting and creative writing
Maths: number sense, times tables and problem solving
Homework help: clear explanations so your child understands, not just finishes
Study habits: organisation and independence for older children

Online lessons that work for young children: sessions are short and interactive, with games, stories, visuals and lots of praise, so your child stays engaged and actually looks forward to them.

For parents: after each lesson, I send a short update on what we worked on and how you can support your child at home.

Your first lesson is free. We’ll get to know each other, I’ll see where your child is, and I’ll suggest a plan.
