About Louisa
Hi there! My name is Louisa. With five years of teaching experience, I am a warm, patient and dedicated tutor who adapts each lesson to the child, helping every student feel confident and excited about learning. My lessons are interactive, varied, and carefully designed to avoid cognitive overload while keeping learners engaged. With a PGCE, QTS and a 120-hour TEFL certificate, I am passionate about supporting children with their phonics understaning and reading development. I maintain a calm, positive and encouraging approach, aiming to build both confidence and strong academic understanding.

I aim to create a warm and patient environment where children feel confident and relaxed while learning. I use an “I do, we do, you do” approach, adapting lessons to each child’s needs. Sessions are typically 30 minutes for EYFS/KS1 and 45–60 minutes for KS2. With five years experience, a PGCE and QTS, I teach primary-aged children of all levels, helping them build both skills and confidence in a supportive way.
