Super Tutor

Fede is one of our best Spanish tutors. High-quality profile, qualifications verified, organised and responsive to lesson requests, and appreciated by their students.

About Fede

¡Hola! I’m a passionate and experienced Spanish teacher who enjoys helping students of all ages build confidence and genuinely enjoy learning Spanish.

I teach Spanish to adults as well as GCSE and A-Level students, adapting my lessons to each student’s goals, level, and learning style. Whether you are starting from scratch, preparing for an exam, looking to improve your conversation skills, or simply want to feel more confident using Spanish, I aim to make every lesson engaging, practical, and tailored to you.

I have a degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of York, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Modern Foreign Languages, specialising in Spanish. My background in psychology and cognitive neuroscience has given me a particular interest in how people learn and remember languages. I use this knowledge to help students develop effective learning strategies, retain vocabulary and grammar, and make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed.

For GCSE and A-Level students, I can support you with exam preparation, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as helping you understand how to approach different exam questions and improve your confidence.

For adult learners, lessons can be adapted to your individual needs — whether you want to learn Spanish for travel, work, conversation, everyday life, or simply because you love the language and culture.

My goal is not only to teach you Spanish, but to help you become a more confident and independent Spanish speaker. I create a friendly, supportive environment where mistakes are a natural part of learning and where you can see your progress from lesson to lesson.

I’d love to help you achieve your Spanish goals. ¡Nos vemos en clase!

I thought I had a basic grasp of Spanish from audio CDs and books until I started learning with Fede and I soon realised there is so much you can only learn from a tutor. Fede breaks the language down and systemically builds up your understanding in manageable stages. Fede is an excellent teacher and I couldn't recommend him more.
