About Charlie

Since graduating with a BA (hons) degree in Drama and English Literature from the University of Birmingham in 2013 I have worked as a youth theatre leader, Drama and English teacher, and private tutor. I then trained as an actor at a top drama school in London, and have worked extensively in theatre both in the UK and internationally, from international school tours to West End shows. At the start of the pandemic I gained an ESOL qualification to teach English online. Since April 2020 I have taught hundreds of students from all over the globe on Palfish, Cambly, and independently.

About the lesson

Student-led teaching means lessons are bespoke according to need, from basic vocabulary and grammar for beginners to conversation practice for professionals hoping to hone their fluency. I have experience of teaching all ages from 4 years old to 60+, but specialise in working with children and young people.
