Experience:
Over 10 years' experience teaching English and Geography across mixed-ability and high-achieving schools. Nearly 10 years providing one-to-one grinds for Junior and Leaving Certificate students. I spent three years teaching Repeat Leaving Certificate English and Geography, developing extensive expertise in exam preparation, revision planning and grade improvement. My approach is supportive, personalised and focused on helping every student achieve their full potential.

My approach to grinds is to allow the student to not only grasp the topic or subject they are struggling with but to learn to love it. I supply topic or subject packs. I also give exercises, I give hour long classes explaining in depth the information necessary to pass exams as well as techniques for using that information in the most efficient way.
I employ interactive exercises as part of my tutoring technique. My aim is to show the student that we are equals and that I am here to help them on their journey. I firmly believe that all students have the ability to excel when supplied with the correct support, patience and guidance.
I offer one to one online classes Monday and Tuesday evenings after 4:30pm. Classes are an hour long.
