About Katherine
I have a BA (Hons) in English and German, and a MA in Creative Writing. I am a Secondary English teacher in a comprehensive school, working with all kinds of different students. I have SEN experience and experience in stretching and challenging high-attaining students.

I change and adapt my teaching methods to each individual student - what works for one student may not work for another. In general, I will start lessons with some input - whether that is looking at a literature text, a theory about linguistics, or gathering ideas and planning for creative writing, before guiding the student to write an answer independently. Then, I will give the student feedback and targets for how to further improve on their work.
