About Nosi
Hello! My name is Divane, and I am a passionate and friendly isiXhosa tutor from Cape Town, South Africa. I hold an Educare qualification and have experience teaching both children and adults.
I enjoy helping learners discover the beauty of isiXhosa in a fun, practical, and supportive way. My lessons are designed to help students build confidence in speaking, improve their pronunciation, expand their vocabulary, and use isiXhosa in everyday situations.
I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging, especially for beginners. That is why I create a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and practising at their own pace.
My online lessons are suitable for children, adults, complete beginners, and learners who would like to improve their existing isiXhosa skills. I adapt each lesson to the student’s age, learning level, interests, and goals.

I am a passionate and friendly isiXhosa tutor from Cape Town with an Educare qualification and experience teaching both children and adults. I teach isiXhosa through English and create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practising, and learning at their own pace.
My lessons are fun, practical, and beginner-friendly. I use everyday conversations, useful vocabulary, pronunciation practice, stories, visual materials, and interactive activities to make learning engaging and easy to understand. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, and I adapt my teaching approach to each student’s age, level, interests, and learning goals.
A typical lesson may include greetings and everyday expressions, new vocabulary, pronunciation practice, simple sentence-building, guided conversations, and interactive exercises. Students can expect clear explanations, plenty of opportunities to practise speaking, and gentle support throughout the lesson.
My online lessons are suitable for children, adults, complete beginners, and learners who already know some isiXhosa but would like to improve their speaking skills, vocabulary, pronunciation, or confidence. Whether you are learning isiXhosa for travel, work, school, family, cultural connection, or everyday communication, I will support you step by step.
