About Carrie
As gaining a science qualification has increased in importance, taking Biology seems like the easy route until you come across the jargon of the subject which can feel like learning a new language as well! I have proven skills to demystify the subject and enable you to have confidence in the language and concepts involved in Biology or Physiology.

I am a fully qualified teacher with 30 years teaching experience in Schools and Colleges and have helped hundreds of students improve their theoretical knowledge at all levels from GCSE to first year Degree as shown by improved exam and coursework grades. Over the years I have seen class sizes increase and the amount of one to one tuition decrease. I understand that everyone has different ways of learning and the current teaching styles in schools and colleges do not suit everybody and at times people need extra support or guidance.
Ultimately, I believe learning should be and can be fun as well as productive.
